Coach Lee Docherty, known as "Doc," is a former semi-professional player for Marske F.C. and Spennymoor F.C. of England. Coach Docherty has an extensive background in soccer training that includes working with the Middlesbrough F.C. Youth Academy (England), and with club and town teams throughout Cape Cod. While playing with Spennymoor F.C., Doc's team was the Division 1 Northern League Runners-up in 2003 and the Northern District Cup Winners in 2004. He was also a member of the British Army 1st Battalion and competed internationally with the British Army soccer team, earning 5 caps. Doc holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, a UEFA B License, and is certified for SAQ, Sports Fitness Training, and Sports Science. |
